This piece will be for sale in my Etsy shop soon, but you can also get a print in the Gift Shop at the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa for the duration of the Woody Guthrie Centennial event.
A framed version of this print will be on display (and for sale) at Joe Momma's in downtown Tulsa during the month of March. It will hang alongside more than a dozen of my art prints. I encourage you to attend the opening on Wednesday, March 7th from 6-8 pm.
The whispering crow represents the undermining influence of Jim Crow laws on social equality during the Great Depression era. Guthrie documented his fight against Jim Crow laws through song and prose.
Woody Guthrie is a key component of a rich cultural heritage shared by inhabitants of the state of Oklahoma.
